Paintings by Regina Jacobson
Born in Los Angeles and residing in Laguna Beach, CA., Regina earned her BFA and MFA from Laguna College of Art + Design. As a Representational Figurative Artist, Regina’s oil paintings reflect her circuitous path to Fine Arts through the Fashion Industry. Her current body of work, A Beautiful Lie, richly examines the vulnerability of humanity in the grip of life’s shadows. Based on the concept that the human spirit longs for love and acceptance, Regina’s work unveils the delicate self-worth of her subjects, undermined by a society where idealized standards seem hallowed and venerated.
